Does Bill Roberts offer before and after school care?

How old does my child have to be to start ECE or Kindergarten?
In order to be enrolled in a program for the upcoming academic year, your child must turn four before October 1st for ECE and five before October 1st for Kindergarten.
Does Bill Roberts offer a Gifted and Talented Program?
There is a full-time GT at Bill Roberts who works with students and teachers.
Can we “Choice In” to Bill Roberts?
The DPS Choice program allows students to attend a school other than one in their immediate neighborhood. Students can apply to any DPS school during the Choice enrollment period, which is the entire month of January. Choice forms will be available at all schools. Forms may be returned to any school for central processing. A lottery will be conducted if there are more applicants than space available in a school.
Is there a bus to school?
Yes. Busses are provided to all K – 5th grade students who live further than 1 mile from the school and to all 6th – 8th grade students who live further than 2 miles from the school. Plenty of transportation details are available at http://transportation.dpsk12.org/ .
Why are ECE and Full-Day Kindergarten tuition-based?
The state of Colorado does not require children to attend preschool or kindergarten; therefore, these programs are not funded by tax dollars |
