Why donate to Bill Roberts PTA?
Did you know the highest rated Denver schools raise between $80,000-120,000 in extra funds per year?
Here's how you might help make our school the best it can be!
- Contribute a one-time amount from $20 to $2000 or more.
- Contribute a monthly amount from $5 to $500 or more.
Remember every dollar counts towards giving our kids the best learning environment
possible. Any donation to the Bob-C.A.T.S Direct Giving Campaign benefits the school
and the giver in many ways.
Our school and students:
- Get allocation for additional classroom teachers allowing the school to have smaller
teacher to student ratios
- Get additional and more frequent contact with specials classes/teachers such as art,
physical education and drama that would not otherwise be part of the curriculum.
The givers:
- Get a tax deduction for any amount contributed. (i.e. $500 only costs about $350 after
taxes; $20/month only costs about $14/month after taxes.)
- Get the BIG benefit of participating in the increase in property values that comes with
great neighborhood schools.
- Get to avoid private school tuition by having the best option right around the block.
If you’re not sure what amount to pick, how about $1/day for each school day for each child attending Bill Roberts? There are 172.5 student contact days in the 2009/10 school year so that’s only $172.50/child or $14.36/month (over a 12 month period)!
